Dream Interpretation Guide
What is Zhou Gong Dream Interpretation?
Zhou Gong's Dream Interpretation is China's oldest dream analysis system, legendarily originating from Duke Zhou Dan (circa 11th century BCE). Duke Zhou was the brother of King Wu of Zhou and a master of rituals, music, and divination. The book was compiled during the Han Dynasty, integrating Confucian ethics, Taoist Yin-Yang cosmology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine's Five Organ theory. This system combines traditional interpretation, Freudian psychoanalysis, Jungian archetypal psychology, TCM organ theory, and modern neuroscience for comprehensive dream analysis from four perspectives.
How to Use Properly?
- Search for the most memorable theme or symbol from your dream
- Consider the emotions felt during the dream for context
- Review multiple perspectives for comprehensive understanding
- Dream interpretations vary by individual; use for inspiration only
- Don't be overly superstitious; dreams are influenced by many factors
